	March 10, 2014     New American Legend III Now Available in 48 States!   The American Legend III is now available for sale in New Jersey, making it available in 48 states! Please note the S&P 500 18-month point-to-point strategy is not available in New Jersey.   As a reminder, the American Legend II is retired in states where the American Legend III is available. We will continue to accept order tickets for American Legend II New Jersey sales through April 4, 2014. After this date, paperwork for the American Legend II will no longer be accepted.   The new American Legend III offers:   -Multiple indexed strategies with caps up to 9.00%!* -Seven-year early withdrawal charge schedule -10% penalty-free withdrawals -Opportunity to add our guaranteed income and enhanced death benefit riders -Three competitive commission options for you!   *This cap applies to the S&P 500 18-month point-to-point strategy.   Reminder - Fixed-Indexed Annuity Rate Decreases Effective March 21   Please remember, rates are decreasing for the following fixed-indexed annuities effective Friday, March 21, 2014.        -American Legend II      -American Legend III      -American Valor 10      -Safe Outlook   Rates will be determined by the date money is received, regardless of the order ticket date. In order to receive the previous rate, funds must be received by Thursday, March 20. Please see the interest rate chart for details.     2013 IRA Contribution Deadline   The deadline for 2013 IRA contributions is April 15, 2014.    -For new contracts, new business paperwork and funds must be received by April 15, 2014. -For existing contracts, funds must be postmarked by April 15, 2014.     Please note all new or additional contributions must meet minimum contract requirements.    Great American Featured During Winter Olympics   Great American Insurance Group recently debuted a television commercial during Cincinnati's local coverage of the Sochi Winter Olympics.
