As the result of the new Annuity Nonforfeiture regulation adopted in Ohio, the ATHENE Enhanced Choice 12sm fixed index annuity will no longer be available for sale in Ohio effective October 1, 2012. | | Our ATHENE Choice 10sm FIA is being replaced, also effective Oct. 1, with a version that has been modified to comply with the new regulation. The new Choice 10 product will feature the same competitive caps but with reduced surrender charges and a modified commission schedule. | | To be accepted for processing, complete application packages for Enhanced Choice 12 or the current version of Choice 10 submitted by Ohio producers must be received in good order in our service center according to the following schedule:
