Effective January 1, 2012, California adopted the new NAIC Suitability in Annuity Transactions Model Regulation. This regulation requires all producers who engage in the sale of annuity products to complete product specific training for each insurer for which they sell. In order to ensure compliance with this rule, each producer must have adequate knowledge of the State Life Care Solutions products and must be in compliance with our standards for product training. Since the January 1, 2012, effective date has passed, it is imperative that you immediately access the product training at www.oneamerica.com/slproducttraining. You may not submit business with State Life until you complete this training requirement.* The California Administrative Rule also continues to require completion of the one-time 8-hour annuity training course and 4-hour CE course every two year license renewal period.
