Sales of the Athene Annuity & Life Assurance Company's (Athene Annuity DE) version of Athene Benefit 10 will end in 33 States Effective 9/15/14 On September 15, 2014, we will discontinue sales of the "current" version of Athene Benefit 10SM in the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CO, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, ME, MI, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NV, OH, OK, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV Application deadlines To be accepted for processing, Athene Benefit 10 applications from any of the states noted above must be signed and dated no later than 9/14/2014 and received in good order in our service center by September 19, 2014. This product is being retired in conjunction with the launch of the "new" Athene Benefit 10 issued by Athene Annuity and Life Company, West Des Moines, IA (Athene IA, formerly Aviva).
