On behalf of the entire team here at Reliance Standard and our Tokio Marine Group colleagues, I am pleased to announce that AM Best has upgraded the Financial Strength Rating (FSR) of Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company to "A+" (Superior) from "A" (Excellent), effective immediately.
The upgrade follows the upgrade by Standard and Poor's last month and recognizes our integration progress following the merger with Tokio Marine last May. As a result of the upgrade, our Comdex score will increase from 85 (current score) to approximately 92 once Comdex enters the new FSR into their system.
