REMINDER - Washington Guaranteed Destinations Change In response to the competitive landscape, Guaranteed Destinations in Washington has been reconfigured.  Commissions at the writing agent level will increase by 2%. The premium bonus will decrease by 2% (from 8% to 6%). The last day we accepted applications for the old configuration of the WA-GD (8% premium bonus) was this past Monday, 05/17/2010. Pending applications received on or before Monday, 05/17/2010, with premiums received later, will be issued under the older configuration. The first issue date for the new product configuration will be this Wednesday, 05/26/2010. Forethought Annuity Products Available in Texas June 1st!   Forethought is pleased to let you know its most popular products will remain available in the state of Texas June 1st and beyond.   June 1st is the implementation date of HB1919, which requires annuity products to meet certain structural criteria.  The changes necessary are consistent with our "lite" or "10/10" product design in other states.    A summary of changes follows: •   The Future Income Solutions series, Index Bonus 115 and Secure Bonus 115, will be available with reduced surrender charges and 1% reduced commissions. •   Income 125 and Secure Income 125 will be available with reduced surrender charges and 1% reduced commissions. •   Forethought Destination Indexed Annuity 3 Year, 6 Year, and 9 Year remain unchanged. •   Guaranteed Destinations is being withdrawn from our portfolio in Texas.   Important Dates •   05/21/10 (Today): Up-to-date forms and marketing materials are available on our website for all 115 and 125 products. Guaranteed Destinations will be removed from TX. •   05/25/10 (Tuesday) and beyond: Applications should be submitted using new forms and materials. Applications pending on 05/25/10 will be issued-as-applied-for unless otherwise notified. •   06/02/10 (Wednesday): The first issue date of the reconfigured 115 and 125 products.
