October 29, 2013 Rate Decreases Effective November 4 & 21, 2013 Fixed Annuity Decreases Rates are decreasing for the Secure American effective Monday, November 4, 2013. Order tickets with checks received in the Home Office by end of business day Friday, November 1 will be processed with the previous rate. Transfers and rollovers received by November 1 must have funds in the Home Office by Wednesday, November 27 to receive the previous rate. Fixed-Indexed Annuity Decreases Rates are decreasing for the American Legend II and Safe Return effective Thursday, November 21, 2013. Rates will be determined by the date money is received, regardless of the order ticket date. In order to receive the previous rate, funds must be received by Wednesday, November 20. These changes are in addition to decreases previously announced and effective November 7, 2013. Please see the interest rate chart for details.

Year-End Processing Deadline - December 13, 2013 To ensure that applications for loans, distributions, required minimum distribution (RMD) requests or annuitizations are processed in the 2013 calendar year, all necessary paperwork must be received in the Home Office and in good order by December 13, 2013. Complete your AML Refresher Course by December 31 Please remember to complete your annual LIMRA AML refresher course by December 31, 2013. If you do not complete the training by year-end, commissions will be held until training is completed. If you have already completed the training, no additional action is required. You may access the refresher course here. Please refer to the training instructions for additional details. If you complete the training through an approved provider other than LIMRA, you can fax us the certification of completion at (513) 412.5144.
