January, 2014 We are adjusting new money rates on select Athene Annuity products effective January 6, 2014, with rates decreasing on our ATHENE Accumulator 5sm and ATHENE Choice Series FIAs. Other Athene Annuity products, including our ATHENE Benefit 10sm FIA and ATHENE MaxRate® MYGAs, remain unchanged.   All rates effective 1/6/14   Important Note: In order to obtain December rates, complete application packages must signed and dated 1/3/14 or earlier and be received in good order in our service center by January 10, 2014. Normal rate hold procedures apply. 	October 29, 2013     Rate Decreases Effective November 4 & 21, 2013   Fixed Annuity Decreases Rates are decreasing for the Secure American effective Monday, November 4, 2013. Order tickets with checks received in the Home Office by end of business day Friday, November 1 will be processed with the previous rate. Transfers and rollovers received by November 1 must have funds in the Home Office by Wednesday, November 27 to receive the previous rate.   Fixed-Indexed Annuity Decreases Rates are decreasing for the American Legend II and Safe Return effective Thursday, November 21, 2013. Rates will be determined by the date money is received, regardless of the order ticket date. In order to receive the previous rate, funds must be received by Wednesday, November 20.   These changes are in addition to decreases previously announced and effective November 7, 2013.   Please see the interest rate chart for details.     Updated California Senior Forms Packet Reduces NIGO Issues   An updated California forms packet is now available for your senior sales. The updated forms include revised language to help reduce Not in Good Order (NIGO) issues.   We will continue to accept previous versions of the forms.
